Building Community

New Page 3

Our priority is your community.

Northumberland United Way is committed to building a strong and healthy community for all. The role of United Way is to match the resources of the community (the fundraising campaign) to those areas of greatest need. United Way agencies respond to health and social service issues in our community.

Northumberland United Way is the largest non-government funder of health and social services programs in the County. We tackle our community's most pressing challenges, looking for solutions that will change lives.

We provide funding to fifteen  agencies which support a number of health and social service initiatives. Along with funding these agencies, Northumberland United Way also provides support by providing grant money through our Community Impact and New Initiatives Programs to not-for-profits and charitable organizations.
