Our priority is your community.
Northumberland United Way is committed to building a
strong and healthy community for all. The role of United Way is to match the
resources of the community (the fundraising campaign) to those areas of greatest
need. United Way agencies respond to health and social service issues in our
community.
Northumberland United Way is the largest non-government
funder of health and social services programs in the County. We tackle our
community's most pressing challenges, looking for solutions that will change
lives.
We provide funding to fifteen agencies which
support a number of health and social service initiatives. Along with funding
these agencies, Northumberland United Way also provides support by providing
grant money through our Community Impact and New Initiatives Programs to
not-for-profits and charitable organizations.
